Artist's Statement

“I’ve always been fascinated by the idea of anonymity within the art world, because I want my work to represent itself, not the person behind it. I want people to focus on the meaning behind each painting, and the feeling that I'm trying to evoke rather than focusing on who the artist behind the mask is.

All of my original paintings are a part of me in some way, and they all reflect my personal thoughts, experiences and feelings… Every piece is the result of an experience that truly made me feel something— And my goal is to be able to make you relate & experience that same feeling when you look at my art.

I never really took a chance to follow my dreams until one day I decided that it was finally time to turn my dream into a goal— which led to the birth of ‘MALIEN ARTWORK’.
